Blueberry Scones

These blueberry scones are flavored with lemon and lavender and filled with blueberries and white chocolate chips!

Whisk to combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, lavender and salt together in a large bowl

Add the grated butter to the flour mixture and toss mixture with a fork until the coated butter is about the size of peas.

Whisk to combine the heavy cream, egg yolk, sugar, and vanilla extract in a small bowl. Pour the wet ingredients over the flour mixture. Add the white chocolate chips and blueberries if using and stir until just combined.

Shape the dough into a circle about 1-1 1/2 inches thick.  Use a sharp knife to slice the dough into 8 triangles.

Bake scones for 17-20 minutes. Allow scones to cool. Drizzle with lemon icing, if desired.
