Expert Tips
- Try not to cut croissants all the way through. They hold together better if they’re not cut through.
- The amount of ice cream you use depends on the size and shape of your croissants and your preference. I used about 1/2 cup or enough to cover the inside of my croissant.
- Make one ice cream sandwich at a time. Toast it right away or place it in the freezer right after it’s assembled. Don’t assemble the whole batch then freeze. They will melt by the time you’re finished.
- If you’re toasting your croissants, serve immediately.
- Use croissants from the bakery if possible. They have the best taste!
